Christmas lights on the island

So on Friday night we headed out to look at the lights on the island. It was nice to ses families go all out for the holidays. We can't imagine what the utilities bill would be for this one. This house belongs to the grandparents of one of Cristin's students. The grandfather was so excited to meet his grandson's teacher that he called his grandson and put Cristin on the phone. It's a small island -- that's for sure.

Diving Group

So here is the diving group I am with from time to time. It is one of the ministries on the island that gets people together to hang out and talk/dive. Here in this group there are 2 Americans, 1 Indian, 1 Kiwi, and 4 South Africans. I am really enjoying being able to spend time with people from so many diverse cultures on the weekends and getting their take on life and God.

Shark Frenzy

So my bible study leader headed to the Bahamas for a couple days last week and I was jealous at first b/c she was able to leave the island and check out a new place. But now I am truly envious of her first dive experience with sharks. Get a load of these pictures. I have only seen two sharks in the water- but this would be incredible.
